I call this tree a plum tree, but I could be totally wrong. Just like the tree I call a crabapple might very well be a cherry. Anyway, the cherry tree by the mailbox has bloomed and is done, and this plum tree is the second to bloom.
***Edited to add: The "cherry" tree by the mailbox produced many, many small peaches this year. Go figure!
