I was chosen to be a chaperone for Joshua's class trip to Roper Mountain Science Center. Our first class was on reptiles and amphibians. Because of it, Joshua has decided he wants to be a herpetologist when he grows up.
He actually held this tree frog on his hand, but I was helping another group and didn't get a picture of it.

After lunch we saw a presentation at the planetarium, which I obviously didn't photograph.
My bus partner:
Before we left school that morning, one of the assistant principals got on the bus and reminded the students that every time the bus stopped, they were to be silent. I thought, "Yeah, right." But sure enough, at every stop sign, stop light, or stop in traffic, the kids raised their "quiet signal" hand in the air and stopped talking. On the way home it took a few more seconds for everyone to catch on, but they did it. It was quite impressive.
