April Fools!

Joseph really got into April Fools Day this year, thanks to an article in his ClubHouse magazine. This is Joshua's "apple juice" for this morning, which was just water Joseph had added food coloring to. Joseph and Joshua also stuffed cotton balls into the toes of Daddy's hiking boots so they wouldn't go on.

Easter Cookies

Joseph and I made cookies for the neighborhood Easter egg hunt. The hunt has since been rescheduled for Wednesday due to rain. I'm not sure these cookies will make it until then!

Joshua was running a fever yesterday, so he didn't get to help. He did decorate one cookie for himself at the end, though.

Update--these cookies survived till the egg hunt on Wednesday.

Second Tree of Spring

I call this tree a plum tree, but I could be totally wrong. Just like the tree I call a crabapple might very well be a cherry. Anyway, the cherry tree by the mailbox has bloomed and is done, and this plum tree is the second to bloom.

***Edited to add:  The "cherry" tree by the mailbox produced many, many small peaches this year.  Go figure!

Name Suggestions?

The blog needs a better name, but I couldn't come up with one right now (hence the current title). Feel free to leave your suggestions for a name in the comments of this post. Just click where it says "comments" right below this.

Brothers

They look pretty innocent, don't they?

I'm not sure why Jeremiah thought he needed to touch Joshua's head.

Joshua had to get in on the action, too.

OK, now what do we do?

Daffodils

I took this picture so you could see that we have some daffodils that have 3 flowers coming from a single stem.

Then I took this picture so you could tell how small the daffodils are,

so Jeremiah decided he was supposed to touch the flowers as well.

By the way, any time you'd like to see the picture bigger, just click on it. When you're finished, just click the "back" arrow on your browser bar to return to the blog.
